Rajkot: A girl, aged two years and seven months, died after being struck by a speeding car when she was playing in the street outside her home in Morbi’s Patelnagar locality on Sunday evening.The girl Dhanshree’s father Vasudev Patel lodged a complaint against the car driver Nirav Bhoraniya at the Morbi City A Division police station.Patel has twin children — a son and a daughter. On Sunday evening, Dhanshree was playing in the street near Silver Apartment while her father was sitting in the parking area. During that time, Bhoraniya allegedly drove his car at high speed through the lane and struck the child, leaving her seriously injured. Following the accident, the driver, along with Patel and others, rushed the toddler to a hospital. However, she succumbed shortly after being admitted.
