Speaking to Tweak India, Soha Ali Khan shared how AI has become a part of her parenting toolkit, helping her better understand Inaaya’s behaviour. She said, “I would like to think I have a healthy balance between the real people and the machines. But I also do think that there is a lot of empathy that I get from AI.”She also pointed out a practical reason many parents lean on AI. Soha added, “There is a lot of time that AI has for me that other people may not have, and there seems to be a lot of what I want to hear coming back to me.”Soha stated that she is aware that the empathy AI offers could simply be part of its design, yet she continues to seek it out regularly.

While Soha Ali Khan didn’t disclose the specific questions she asks AI, she admitted she hopes her conversations remain confidential. The actress revealed a habit of prefacing her queries with a disclaimer, saying she always uses the phrase “Asking for a friend” whenever she is conversing with an intelligent machine. She jokingly advised others, “Never really ask for yourself guys.”

During the same conversation, Soha Ali Khan was also asked whether she keeps any part of herself hidden from her daughter. The actress responded that after eight years together, Inaaya has seen her in every possible light. She said, “I want Inaaya to see me for what I truly am, which is far from perfect. I’m a bit of a mess at times. I have lost my temper, I have cried, and she sees me. She sees me for who I truly am.”Soha also revealed that she once tried maintaining a different persona for three years but has since let that go. She concluded, “But now, I am grateful to her that she has empathy, that she accepts me for who I am, and that she loves me for who I am. She really has seen all sides of me.”
