Patna: Calling Bihar the “capital of paper leaks”, RJD working president and leader of opposition in the state assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, on Sunday said the march he would lead to Lok Bhavan on Wednesday would be an “open one”. He appealed to students, youths, job aspirants, teachers from coaching institutes, women and others to participate and press their demands.“It is time to launch a movement against prevailing malpractices. Enough is enough,” Tejashwi told reporters. He added, “The youths are fed up with hearing their ‘jumlas.’ Ours is an open Lok Bhavan March. I appeal to all concerned to participate in it. Our aim is to inform the governor about your demands and the problems you are facing.”He appealed to those preparing for jobs, students of universities and colleges, coaching institute teachers and women facing problems arising from “paper leaks, dictatorial stance of the government and raging unemployment.”“Not a single examination is conducted with transparency. Leave the competitive examinations, the paper leaks happen even in examinations held for the 10th and 12th standards,” Tejashwi said. He added, “Recruitment tests are not held transparently, and, therefore, able, efficient and informed candidates are getting selected with difficulty, and there is not only glaring lack of quality education, but also the state is drop rate is highest in the country.”He said school students do not get books and youths face unemployment with “not even 1 lakh jobs” provided against the promise of 1 crore jobs.
