Jan Suraaj protest in Buxar: Jan Suraaj’s Buxar unit staged a two-hour symbolic sit-in in water-filled potholes on Buxar Golambar-Dumraon road via Jaso and Nandaon on Sunday, protesting its poor condition. Party’s district president Bajrangi Mishra and party workers were joined by local residents. Mishra accused BJP MLA Anand Mishra of failing to fulfil his election promise to get the road repaired within two months. He said deep potholes and waterlogging posed accident risks, particularly for children, women and elderly commuters. Mishra demanded the MLA’s resignation if the road remained unrepaired.
