Bandipora, July 22: A 14-year-old boy was found dead in a nallah in the Guzarbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Amir Khatana (14), son of the late Mehboob Khatana and a resident of Bonibal Tangath.
According to officials, the boy’s body was recovered from the nallah and shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for medico-legal formalities.
Police have initiated legal proceedings and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine the exact cause of death.
