Srinagar, Jul 22: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Voluntary Medicare Society, which has been serving Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) across Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for over five decades.
In a post on X, Sinha said, “It was inspiring to see their dedicated work in empowering specially-abled individuals, particularly through para-sports. During an interaction with our brilliant para-athletes, I reminded them that their unique abilities and contributions to society are truly immense.”
He said the society has been working in the areas of healthcare, education, livelihood and community inclusion.
