Ajmer: A 17-year-old from Dahod, Gujarat, died when the e-rickshaw he was travelling in turned upside down at Delhi Gate Saturday. The youth fell on the road, injured his head, and died on the spot. Ganj police Sunday released the body without a postmortem at the request of relatives, and the Ajmer Dargah’s anjuman committee provided an ambulance to the relatives to take his body home.According to Ganj police, Syed Majuman Ali had come to offer prayers at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti on Saturday morning by train. After offfering prayers, he took an e-rickshaw to Ana Sagar Lake. At Delhi Gate, the rickshaw, which was speeding, turned upside down when passing over a speed breaker, resulting in Majuman’s death on the spot.
