Jhunjhunu: Family of Squadron Leader Lokendra Singh Sindhu, who was martyred in a fighter plane crash on July 9 in the village of Bhanuda in Churu’s Ratangarh tehsil, visited the crash site Sunday and became emotional upon touching the soil. During this visit, the martyr’s father found a piece of his son’s uniform with the Squadron Leader’s name inscribed on it, bringing tears to the family’s eyes.Local resident Vijaypal Bhuval shared that Squadron Leader Lokendra Singh Sindhu’s father Joginder Singh, mother Anita Devi, uncle Jitendra Singh, elder brother Gyanendra Singh, sister-in-law Sonika Singh, niece Kashvi Sindhu, brother-in-law Wing Commander Navjeet, sister retired Squadron Leader Anjali, nephews Agastya Singh and Ananjay Singh, and friend Harish Bhargav, arrived from Haryana to the village of Bhanuda on Saturday night and visited the crash site on Sunday morning.The family was moved to tears upon seeing the site, touched the soil to pay homage to the martyr, and sprinkled holy water. Father Joginder Singh, with tearful eyes, remembered his son and noticed a piece of the uniform with Lokendra Singh’s name on it, which made the family emotional and brought tears to the eyes of the villagers present. While the father grieved his son’s departure, finding the uniform piece filled him with pride. The family took some soil from the crash site with them.
