Nagpur: An 18-year-old youth was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly stabbing a 15-year-old Class 9 student multiple times in Dipti Signal area on June 28. Police said the accused claimed he had intended to target someone else but attacked the schoolboy by mistake.As per police, the accused Nilesh Foye approached the boy from behind and repeatedly stabbed him without any provocation. Passersby shifted him to a private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.During questioning, Foye allegedly told police the victim was not his intended target. Investigators are verifying his claim . Kalamna police have registered a case and arrested the accused.Further probe is on.
