Ara: A 30-year-old higher secondary school teacher, Soumya Raj, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her rented flat in Nayka Tola under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district late on Friday. The reason behind the suspected suicide was not immediately known.Jagdishpur SDPO Rahul Kumar said police received information about the incident around 9.30pm and rushed to the spot. The FSL team was also called to assist in the investigation.Rahul said, “The deceased woman named Soumya Raj, daughter of Subodh Kumar of Sheikhpura district, was living in a rented flat at Nayka Tola. She was a teacher at Arela plus two higher secondary school under the Tiyar police station of Bhojpur. Her parents have been informed and they have arrived here. The body has been sent to Sadar hospital Ara for autopsy. Further investigation is going on in the case.”
