Rourkela: A 52-year-old man and his son were killed in a suspected lightning strike in a village in Dhenkanal district, on Sundayafternoon.Santosh Dehury (52) and his son, Satyanarayan Dehury (25), of Balipada village under Kamakhyanagar police station in Dhenkanal, went to their farmland on Sunday afternoon. and while they were transplanting paddy saplings on their farmland, they were struck by suspected lightning and they fell there in a critical state.The villagers rushed them to Kamakhyanagar sub-divisional hospital, where both the duo were declared dead by the doctor.After getting information, Kamakhyanagar police reached the hospital and recovered the bodies.
