Prayagraj: Sleuths of special task force on Tuesday claimed to bust an inter-state racket involved in organised online gaming/ betting using forged documents/electronic equipment through a website. STF arrested four of key members of the gang from Meja area. Those arrested were identified as Brajesh Kumar Singh alias Teetu (26) of Meja, Abhishek Kumar (20) of Varanasi, Prince Kumar alias Gautam (20) of Meja and Mitesh Pradhan (26) of Chhatisgarh.Police also seized one laptop, one tablet, eight mobile phones, 24 packs of SIM cards, four used SIM cards, 10 UPI QR code stickers, Rs 23,000 cash, five other mobile sets, three registers and other documents from their possession.Police said prime accused Brijesh Kumar Singh alias Teetu, along with his accomplices, was operating in an organised manner. Police added that under the garb of running a poultry farm, Brijesh was operating an inter-state online betting racket.
