Chikkamagaluru: Sringeri MLA TD Rajegowda broke down, accusing BJP leaders of harassing him and his family during a Congress event at Balehonnur. Rajegowda addressed party workers during the Janandolan programme organised in Balehonnur.“During my tenure, former minister Jeevaraj harassed me out of jealousy, preventing me from working properly,” the Congress MLA alleged. “Jeevaraj pressured I-T officials to conduct raids against me. Initially, posters were distributed against me, and ED raids were conducted,” he said.Referring to Jeevaraj, the MLA said, “You ruined my house and did injustice to me. I borrowed loans but never did anything wrong.”“A person with a malicious intent should not become a legislator again; if they do, it is a danger to the constituency,” he stated, and challenged Jeevaraj to announce that he would not contest in the upcoming polls.
