T’puram: The 34th death anniversary of Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma was observed with reverence at ‘Panchavati’, his resting place on the premises of Kowdiar Palace, on Monday. Organized by Sree Chithira Thirunal memorial committee, the event began with governor Rajendra Arlekar lighting the ceremonial lamp. Notable attendees were royal family members Gauri Parvathi Bai, Gauri Lakshmi Bai and Aditya Varma, K Muraleedharan, former ambassadors T P Sreenivasan and T P Seetharaman, Palode Ravi, former minister M Vijayakumar and BJP leader Karamana Jayan.
