Patna’s Iskcon hosted ‘Amrit Utsav 2026’, a spiritual gathering celebrating chanting, dancing, and feasting. Senior leaders inaugurated the event, which featured devotional music, discourses on Srila Prabhupada’s teachings, and the distribution of prasad. A play, “Ajamil,” captivated the audience, fostering spiritual awareness and Vedic traditions among diverse attendees.

Patna: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon), Patna, on Sunday organised a spiritual gathering titled “Amrit Utsav 2026”, drawing devotees and followers from across the region.The event, centred on the theme of ‘Bliss of chanting, dancing & feasting’, began with a ceremonial lighting of lamp by senior spiritual leaders, including Bhakti Prachar Parishad Swami Maharaj, Adi Karta Das, Venu Vinod Das and Radhapati Charan Das.The programme aimed to promote spiritual awareness and strengthen Vedic traditions within society. Activities included Harinam sankirtan, bhajan-kirtan sessions, spiritual discourses and the distribution of ‘prasad’.Speakers highlighted the teachings of Iskcon’s founder-acharya, Srila Prabhupada, emphasising values of devotion, service and collective harmony.A highlight of the event was the theatrical performance of the play “Ajamil” presented by the Iskcon Youth Forum, which emotionally moved the audience. Devotees from different regions attended the programme, creating a diverse gathering centred on spiritual engagement and cultural exchange.Iskcon Patna co-general secretary and Bhakti Prachar Parishad Swami Maharaj, in his address, gave special guidance on expanding spiritual consciousness within household life.The event concluded with the distribution of ‘mahaprasad’ among attendees.
