Prayagraj: Pratapgarh superintendent of police Deepak Bhukar on Wednesday suspended two sub-inspectors with immediate effect on charges of indiscipline and dereliction of duty.Additional SP (West) Brijnandan Rai said sub-inspectors Anand Kumar Rai and Ram Ashray Yadav, posted at Jethwara police station, were sharing a rented accommodation in the Jethwara area.“On April 20, the two got into an argument over alleged wastage of water from a tank. The dispute escalated into a scuffle and physical altercation,” Rai said.After senior officers were informed of the incident, the duo was placed under suspension. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered, he added.
