Prayagraj: UP Board will declare the results of Classes X and XII board examinations for 2026 on April 23 at 4pm from its headquarters in Prayagraj, said board secretary, Bhagwati Singh.“Like previous years, the results of both classes will be declared simultaneously. Students will be able to check their results on the official website www.upmsp.edu.in as well as on the DigiLocker portal. Final technical verification is currently underway to ensure a smooth and error-free declaration,” he said.This year, over 54 lakh students appeared for the examinations.As per board data, a total of 27,50,945 candidates had registered for High School and 24,79,352 for Intermediate. The examinations were conducted from Feb 18 to March 12 across all 75 districts at 8,033 centres in two shifts.However, about 2.87 lakh candidates skipped the exams, including 1.61 lakh from High School and 1.26 lakh from Intermediate. The evaluation process was completed between March 18 and April 4 by nearly 1.53 lakh personnel, including about 83,800 examiners.To enhance transparency, the board introduced technical upgrades this year, including a pilot project in Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi and Gorakhpur, where marks were uploaded through both conventional and online systems.Along with the results, the board will also release the list of toppers for both classes. Students securing top ranks will be honoured by state govt.Last year, the results were declared on April 25 in record time, while this year they are being announced two days earlier, reflecting improved efficiency.
