Faridabad: Three days after police arrested the victim’s mother-in-law (45) in connection with the discovery of a woman’s body buried in a sealed pit in front of the family home on June 20, authorities arrested the victim’s sister-in-law on Saturday. To date, police have arrested three family members, including the father-in-law and mother-in-law, while the victim’s husband remains at large.According to police spokesperson Yashpal, the sister-in-law was present when her father and brother buried the body in the pit outside their residence. Authorities identified the victim’s father-in-law (54) as the main conspirator, with the mother-in-law and husband also implicated. On April 15, the family sent the mother-in-law to a relative’s wedding. Prior to the incident, the father-in-law had arranged for a ten-foot-deep pit to be dug along a road outside his home.
