Mysuru: Hours after T Narasipura police registered an FIR against former MP Pratap Simmha over his Friday speech, Mysore MP Yaduveer Wadiyar made it clear that Pratap Simmha’s opinion is not the party’s opinion.“He made the speech; it is his opinion; it is not the party’s opinion at all,” he said.Reacting to the development, he told reporters that Simmha has made the statements and will face the charges legally. “I didn’t listen to his speech,” Yaduveer said.Meanwhile, Simmha stated that if the FIR is registered alleging that he provoked the people, the case should be booked against inspector Dhananjay in the first place. “He provoked us first. If the state govt had initiated action against him, this situation would not have arisen,” he said.
