Krishnagiri: Two siblings died after their bike collided head-on with a tipper truck on the Shoolagiri-SIPCOT Road in Krishnagiri district, early on Tuesday morning.The deceased have been identified as V Kesavan, 17, and Sudeep Kumar, 15, of Varadapuram village.Police said the brothers were riding on the road leading to the SIPCOT Industrial Estate in Shoolagiri when the accident took place. “They suddenly collided head-on with a tipper truck that was coming from the opposite direction,” said a police officer from Shoolagiri station. He added that both suffered severe injuries in the impact and died on the spot. Shoolagiri police who were alerted, recovered the bodies, and sent them in a private ambulance to the Krishnagiri Government Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.A case has been registered against the truck driver who fled the accident spot. Further inquiry is on.
