Coimbatore: DMK has incorporated my ideas in its election manifesto, alleged NTK chief coordinator Seeman.Speaking at a public meeting in Sulur on Tuesday, Seeman alleged that women and girls in the state are unsafe and claimed that from two-year-old children to 80-year-old women are facing harassment. Despite claiming that it is protecting women and ensuring their safety, Seeman said, the DMK govt is selling liquor, which is a major cause of rape, murder, and other crimes against women. Seeman said that if he comes to power, he will impose the harshest punishment on those who rape and murder women. He said that people in every sector are facing difficulties under the present government, which is evident from the protests held by farmers and doctors on the streets. He also criticized TVK leader Vijay for announcing Rs 2,500 for women, saying that the competition between the DMK and TVK is now limited to offering freebies. Seeman said that the groundwater level in the state has declined and that people have started protesting over water scarcity. He warned that if the situation continues for a few more years, a new revolution will erupt in the state. He also promised to restore polluted rivers, including the Noyyal River in Coimbatore, and to provide free quality education and medical treatment. Seeman also introduced a new logo for Tamil Nadu and said it would be adopted if NTK comes to power. The logo features Tamil saint-poet Thiruvalluvar, a tiger, cows, palm trees, paddy, and the Ashoka Chakra.
