Prayagraj: The Sangam city on Sunday experienced moderate rainfall and brought a relief from sultry weather conditions. A total of 62 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in the city over the past 24 hours. Some pockets also witnessed water logging.The minimum temperature recorded on Sunday was 26 degrees Celsius, just 0.2 degrees Celsius below normal. The heat remained subdued due to cloud cover and intermittent rainfall. The meteorological department has forecast that the spell of rain will continue in the coming days.Weathermen predicted that the sky will remain generally cloudy on Monday and Tuesday, and there is a possibility of one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
