Hyderabad: Agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Monday said Rythu Bharosa funds would be deposited in phases into the accounts of a total of 73.32 lakh farmers across the state.In the first phase, the govt would deposit ₹2,482 crore into the bank accounts of 41.37 lakh farmers who own up to two acres of land.The minister explained that in this phase, the govt is releasing ₹878 crore for 14.65 lakh farmers owning up to one acre of land, and ₹1,603 crore for 26.72 lakh farmers owning up to two acres.Rythu Bharosa funds would also be credited to the remaining farmers in subsequent phases. Farmers who have recently received their passbooks can also avail themselves of the benefit by approaching their nearest agricultural extension officer and submitting their bank account details by July 5.
