Nagpur: Three fatal road accidents were reported in and around the city. Cops registered cases of rash driving and causing death by negligence, including against a man driving a car without a valid licence.In the Hudkeshwar case, Devidas Tembre (25) died when the car he was travelling in hit a parked vehicle. Investigation revealed Pranay Harinkhede, who does not hold a licence, was driving the car at high speed. A minor was also travelling in the car. Police charged Pranay Harinkhede (22) and Sagar Mahalle (33) of Punapur, Pardi, for the accident.Mahalle was made an accused as he had allowed Harinkhede to drive the vehicle despite knowing he didn’t have a licence.Ravindra Chanore (67), a resident of Jaitala Road, was riding a scooter when an unidentified vehicle hit him near Alankar Chowk on North Ambazari Road. He suffered serious head injuries and was admitted to GMCH. He was declared dead during treatment. Sitabuldi police registered a case against the unknown driver.In the third incident, Roshan, a resident of Kirnapur, was riding a moped towards Bhandara when a mini truck hit him from behind on Sept 30. Driver Ashid Roy, a resident of Hooghly district in West Bengal, was charged with driving at high speed and in a rash manner.
