Jhansi: Railway employees participated in a mass cleanliness drive at Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi station under ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’ campaign Thursday.The ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’ initiative was organised to promote collective responsibility and public participation. The drive was led by Railway Board additional member (Works) Rajesh Agrawal in presence of DRM Aniruddh Kumar. Employees cleaned station premises, removed waste from tracks through rag-picking and segregated wet and dry waste.Agrawal said cleanliness should not be restricted to a day or campaign but treated as continuous responsibility. He said passengers and public also had important role. DRM Aniruddh Kumar said such initiatives create awareness. Division has been conducting regular activities under campaign, said PRO NCR Jhansi.Similar drives were conducted at other stations and depots of division. Additional DRMs Nandish Shukla and Prem Prakash Sharma, CPM Santosh Gupta, Sr DEN Ashutosh Chaurasia, Sr DCM Aman Verma, Sr DOM Atul Yadav and others participated.
