Yaduveer said that he would raise the issue with the Centre govt

Mysuru: Pro-Hindutva organisations, led by Hindu Jagarana Vedike, held a protest in the city against the FIR against six of its members in connection with the recent controversy related to stopping the railway commuters from Bengal at the city railway station.Addressing the gathering, MP Yaduveer KC Wadiyar said registering FIR against activists of vedikie is condemnable. “Criminalising the act of verifying the details of passengers will set a bad precedent,” he said.Yaduveer added that he would raise the issue at the central govt level and assured that he will stand with the activists.Speaking on the occasion, Vasanth Kumar, city convener of Hindu Jagarana Vedike, challenged the police that organisation activists broke the law. “The police officers who registered FIR must resign if they fail to prove our wrongdoing,” he said.He alleged that Congress govts in Karnataka and Kerala are creating a vote bank through illegal migrants ahead of the 2028 state assembly election. He urged the central govt to order an NIA investigation as every week over 18k from Bangla are entering the state, putting the internal security of the country in danger.
