Varanasi: The Cantt police, on Friday, arrested the accused in the theft case linked to a railway catering establishment operating in Mint House located in Nadesar of the Cantt police station area.The police team, led by the in-charge inspector Raj Kishore Pandey, arrested the accused employee, Prashant Kumar Singh, a resident of Begusarai, (Bihar), and seized cash and two mobile phones found in his possession.According to the police, a case was registered on the complaint of the restaurant operator and a search for the accused was launched after preliminary investigation.The accused was arrested near platform number 9 of the Cantt railway station. The police are interrogating the accused. Investigation on other aspects of the case, and necessary legal action is being taken.
