Patna: Secretary of urban development and housing department (UDHD)-cum-managing director of Patna Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (PMRCL), Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalkatti, on Monday directed officials to fast-track construction of the metro project, resolve pending issues and ensuring timely completion of all milestones following a high-level review meeting on Monday.The review was chaired by Sandeep and attended by PMRCL officials and representatives of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Officials carried out a detailed review of ongoing works and assessed progress across various sections of the project. Pending issues, including land acquisition and other implementation challenges, were discussed to identify solutions and avoid delays.Sandeep directed all agencies involved in the project to remove bottlenecks and accelerate construction activities to keep the project on schedule. He stressed the need for close coordination among executing agencies to ensure timely completion. He said the metro project is progressing steadily and reiterated the commitment to complete it within the stipulated timeline.
