The issue gained traction on Ambedkar Jayanti, after AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj shared a video questioning the positioning of B. R. Ambedkar’s portrait. The AAP has sought clarification, calling attention to the symbolism of the arrangement. Meanwhile, Rekha Gupta paid floral tribute to Dr Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, calling him a “strong pillar of Indian democracy”
