Times News NetworkRamgarh: District fishery department in Ramgarh has rolled out fish feed production in three units in Ramgarh, Dulmi and Mandu, officials said on Thursday adding that each unit is producing 1.5 metric tonnes of feed per day and supplying it to farmers in Hazaribag, Bokaro and Dumka. District fisheries officer Arup Choudhary said, “After local consumption, we are supplying to other districts,” he said. He added while fishery activities are underway at abandoned coal mines of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Kuju and Barka-Sayal area, they are now identifying more such places to promote fish cultivation.
