Jaipur: Three matches were played on Saturday in the R League A Division Football, organised jointly by the Rajasthan Football Association and Poornima University.The first match of the day was played between Sunrise Football Club and Football Club Brother United. Sunrise got off to a strong start in the match with a goal from Sufian in the 5th minute of the match. Both the teams tried their best to score a goal till the half time but neither could score a goal.In the 85th minute of the match, Kushagraraj of Sunrise scored the second goal for his team. Football Club Brother United tried their best to score a goal and in the 86th minute of the match, Vishnu scored a goal for his team to make the score 2-1. Preet equalized the score at 2-2 by scoring a penalty in the extra time of the match. Thus, the match between Football Club Brother United and Sunrise Football Club ended in a draw.In the second outing, Jerthi Football Club defeated Rihan Football Club 2-0. Kumar Prince gave Jerthi Football Club the lead in the 12th minute of the match, while Vijaypal scored in the 20th minute to give his team a two-goal lead, a lead that lasted until the end of the match. The final encounter of the day was a thrilling one between Jaipur City Football Club and ASAL Football Club. In the 36th minute of the match, Jaipur City’s Altaf converted a penalty to give his team the lead, which remained intact.According to Rajasthan Football Association secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat, a total of 42 matches will be played in the league, which began on March 20. Eighteen matches have been played so far, and the next matches will be played on April 7.
