The BJP conducted its Independence Day programme at Badi Chaupar.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore on Saturday apologised after a version of Vande Mataram with different music was played instead of the original rendition during the party’s Independence Day programme in Jaipur.The BJP organised its Independence Day function at Badi Chaupar, where Rathore unfurled the national flag from the main stage, according to news agency PTI.According to party leaders, the original version of Vande Mataram was scheduled to be played after the flag-hoisting ceremony. However, a different rendition of the national song was played through the sound system.Jaipur MP Manju Sharma, MLA Balmukund Acharya and several senior BJP leaders were present at the event.Organisers immediately attempted to correct the mistake, but by then the incident had already been recorded by attendees and media personnel present at the venue.Rathore later apologised for the error, attributing it to a technical and human lapse by the team handling the programme arrangements.“It was a technical and human error on the part of the team managing the arrangements. I apologise for this,” Rathore said,He said the incident should not have happened.
