NEW DELHI: Heavy rain lashed parts of Delhi-NCR, bringing relief from the hot and humid conditions that had prevailed over the past two to three days.The rain arrived during the evening rush hour, affecting traffic on several key arterial roads.Long queues of vehicles were reported on Mahatma Gandhi Road towards Lajpat Nagar, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Setu towards Sarai Kale Khan, Hazrat Nizamuddin Marg towards Mathura Road, the Safdarjung-AIIMS corridor and around Hauz Khas, with navigation apps showing long stretches of congested roads.Traffic also moved at a crawl on Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, Shaheed Jeet Singh Marg, Ber Sarai, JNU Gate-Jia Sarai Road and near Munirka.
