Begusarai: Bike-borne miscreants shot dead a 52-year-old property dealer at Nagdah locality under Singhaul police station area in Begusarai on Monday. The deceased was identified as Varun Singh, a resident of Meha village under Dandari police station area in the district.According to police, the assailants ambushed him while he was travelling with a few others for some professional work. Varun sustained multiple bullet injuries and collapsed on the spot. Locals rushed him to the Begusarai sadar hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.Begusarai SP Manish said, “We are scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify those involved in the murder. The motive will become clear after the arrest of the accused.”
