Imphal: Christians across Manipur joined the global observance of Easter Sunday with special prayer services on Sunday.At the Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) Centre Church in Imphal, people from various communities gathered together to mark the occasion. Director of peace and development, MBC, Dr Ng. Molarhring Monsang said the celebration symbolised hope, renewal, and the triumph of life over sin, adding that the congregation offered prayers for peace and harmony in Manipur. “People from different ethnic groups have come together today, and we prayed for the land, for peace and prosperity,” he said.The service emphasised collective hope, with the faithful seeking blessings for stability and reconciliation in the state.
