Prayagraj: A Pratapgarh man was arrested for allegedly posting objectionable comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath on social media, police said on Thursday.An FIR was registered against Vikas Saroj, 29, of Gangehati village, based on a complaint filed by Kandhai police.Saroj was allegedly using derogatory remarks against PM and CM on his social media account. He is also accused of posting objectionable remarks targeting a particular community.A senior police officer said the accused was sharing posts that allegedly spread hatred and included threatening messages against the district administration and police.He has been booked under Sections 352, 353(1) and 351(3) of the BNS and Section 67 of the IT Act, a senior officer said.
