Patna: Patliputra University (PPU) has extended the deadline for online applications to several professional and self-financed courses to provide more time for eligible candidates seeking admission.PPU dean of students’ welfare Rajeev Ranjan said candidates can now apply online for the three-year LLB programme (2026-29), postgraduate self-financed courses (2026-28), including MBA, MCA, MSc biotechnology, MSc IT and PG diploma in counselling and rehabilitation (PGDCR), till Aug 14. The university has also extended the application deadline for MLIS and BLIS programmes (2026-27) and the MEd programme (2026-27) to Aug 14.Interested candidates, who meet the eligibility criteria, can complete the application process through the university admission portal by Aug 14. The university will not consider any further request for extension of the deadline, Ranjan said.Applicants have been advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria, course details and other instructions before submitting their applications. The earlier deadline was Aug 7.The application fee for the LLB programme is Rs 1,500 for general, BC-I, BC-II and EWS candidates and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST candidates. For postgraduate self-financed courses, the fee is Rs 1,100 for general, BC-I, BC-II and EWS candidates and Rs 750 for SC/ST candidates. For the MEd programme, candidates from the general, BC-I, BC-II and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 2,000.
