Nagpur: Dhantoli police have charged the son of a politician, a sound system owner, for playing loud DJ music during a Dahi Handi programme at Ajni Chowk.The case was registered on a complaint by Ankush Hiranwar, 44, personnel from the confidential section of Dhantoli police station, after.The politician’s son had organised the event. Police earlier served him a notice to strictly follow rules on sound and beam lights.Police measured the DJ noise at 102.4 decibels at 7:49pm, and 96.4 decibels at 9:31pm. At 10 pm, he was asked to stop the event, but the programme ended only at 10:45pm.
