Thiruvananthapuram: The state police have urged public to make use of its CyberWall service to identify and understand suspicious links, websites, SMS messages, phone numbers and IP addresses and stay alert against cyber threats.CyberWall uses artificial intelligence technology to help users identify potential cyber threats and take necessary precautions for safer digital transactions. The service is available through a WhatsApp chatbot.The police advised people not to click on suspicious links or share confidential information such as one-time passwords, PINs and passwords with anyone.Those who have doubts regarding a cyber transaction can seek assistance through the CyberWall WhatsApp number 9497964163.The police have also urged victims of online financial fraud to immediately report the incident by calling the toll-free helpline 1930. Complaints can also be registered through National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, www.cybercrime.gov.in.
