Surat: Adajan police saved the life of a 40-year-old woman who allegedly attempted suicide by hanging at her residence in the early hours of Thursday. Police received the emergency call at 12.49am and reached the spot within two minutes and 10 seconds.According to police, Adajan PCR 56 reached the scene and, through a window, spotted the woman hanging from a ceiling fan. The policemen immediately broke open the door, brought her down and administered CPR and first aid. The woman was then rushed to the nearest hospital in a 108 ambulance for further treatment. She is currently stable and out of danger, police said.According to police, the woman had attempted suicide following a personal matter. The timely intervention by the police helped save her life.
