Surat: Chowk Bazaar police have intensified investigation into the murder of 55-year-old real-estate broker Faisal Hasanfatta by registering a murder case. “10 teams comprising Chowk Bazaar police officials, LCB, DCB and SOG have been formed to nab the accused. We have identified three persons after checking 300 CCTVs. Two persons named Wasim and Abhishek are among those identified,” police inspector SD Ratda told TOI. “We are investigating whether it was a contract killing and also if anyone from Mumbai is connected with the murder,” he added.Hasanfatta, a resident of Rander, was murdered in the middle of traffic on Jilani Bridge in the Chowk Bazaar police station jurisdiction at 8.30pm on Monday. Four unknown persons stopped the real-estate broker and hacked him to death before fleeing. Hasanfatta was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.
