Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar police on Sunday issued a stern warning against people circulating fake photos linked to the recent mob lynching of railway constable Soumya Ranjan Swain in Balianta.“About 10 days ago, we arrested a youth for sharing a morphed photo of the victim and mob. We continue to detect attempts to circulate false content online. Those who persist in posting such manipulated images will face strict legal consequences, including arrest,” DCP Jagmohan Meena said, cautioning that such acts of deliberate misrepresentation on social media are not only misleading but also capable of provoking public unrest.
