Udupi: On the occasion of Karnataka police Flag Day, the Udupi district police organised the Police Flag Day celebration at Chandu Maidan in Udupi on Thursday. The ceremonial salute of the Police Flag Day was received by Sujatha Salian, a retired police inspector from Udupi district.Udupi SP Hariram Shankar and ASP Sudhakar S Naik were present.Medical financial assistance amounting to Rs 13.1 lakh was distributed for 2025-26 to retired police officers or staff based on the applications received for medical aid. The parade was led by Ravi Kumar, inspector, DAR, Udupi.
