So dream big and achieve them, never be afraid of your dreams being shattered”, said veteran Bollywood actor Ashish Vidyarthi. He was speaking at the founder’s day celebration of the United Group of Institutions (UGI), Naini, on Saturday.Vidyarthi, who has appeared in over 350 films in different languages, cited some inspiring examples from his own life and urged students to use their time and energy in the right direction to achieve success. He called them to strive to do better each day than the previous one.Speaking to the audience in his familiar style, Vidyarthi also recounted his journey from a film career to becoming a blogger.Speaking as the chief guest, Prayagraj district magistrate Manish Kumar Verma said that every student possesses hidden talent. It is the duty of parents and teachers to recognise and nurture it, he added. He said that asking questions provides insight, therefore, do not discourage children from asking questions, provide them with accurate information.Speaking as guest of honour, Brig Navneet Dagar, Deputy GoC, East UP and MP, Sub Area spoke to the students about the importance of discipline in life and urged them to adopt it. He also expressed gratitude to United for honouring the wives of brave soldiers under the Veer Nari Samman.On this occasion, Veer Naris and promising students and teachers from 60 prestigious schools from Prayagraj and other districts were honoured for their academic excellence.
