Participants attend heritage walk at Chandrashekhar Azad Park

Prayagraj: To mark World Heritage Day, a special heritage walk was organised at the historic Chandrashekhar Azad Park on Saturday, introducing participants to the city’s rich cultural and historical legacy.The walk was organised by a startup named Dhaara aur Dharohar in collaboration with Allahabad Museum, INTACH Prayagraj Chapter and Sahapedia.During the walk, participants were taken to important landmarks, including the Victoria Memorial, band stand, public library and various galleries of the Allahabad Museum. Guests at the museum were also familiarised with several significant exhibits, including the archaeological collection, sculpture collection and Azad Gallery.Among the guests were Urmi Neogi, Shlok Ranjan, Alisha Phillips, Ansh Mishra, Kuhuk Kumar, Anupam Kumar, Rahul Tripathi and Saransh Shrivastav.Allahabad Museum’s assistant curator Sanju Mishra, INTACH co-convenor Anupam Parihar, along with the founders of the startup, Vaibhav Maini and Adarsh Malviya were also present.The organisers said the objective was to connect youth and the public with their historical heritage and to create awareness regarding its preservation.
