Pernem: The Pernem police on Sunday arrested three persons for allegedly stabbing a man and for violently assaulting him and his cousin over a previous enmity at Bhatwadi in Korgao.According to the police, the complainant, Mukand Dinanth Narse, alleged Rushikesh Santosh Narse, 35, Snehal Santosh Narse, 29, and Shubham Navnath Narse, 30, accosted them at around 3pm on Sunday.The trio allegedly abused the complainant in filthy language before stabbing him with a knife. They further assaulted Mukand and his cousin, Sachidanand Narse, with a wooden staff, a plastic pipe, punches, and kicks, causing bleeding.The attackers also went of to damage the complainant’s scooter, causing a loss of approximately Rs 15,000, and threatened the victims with dire consequences.They have been booked under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for voluntarily causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and acting with common intention.
