Pune: A 26-year-old medical practitioner at Sassoon General Hospital has lodged a complaint against a 30-year-old relative of a patient from Ghorpadi, alleging that the man charged at him while he was administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the patient around 10.40am on Sunday.The Bund Garden police registered a case later that afternoon.According to the FIR, the critically ill patient was brought to the hospital by his relatives.“After examining the patient, the doctor began administering CPR. During the procedure, one of the patient’s relatives started recording the treatment on his cellphone,” an officer from the Bund Garden police said.The doctor, who is pursuing postgraduate studies, asked the relative not to film the CPR procedure.

“The relative allegedly began abusing him, leading to an argument. He then charged at the doctor, threatened him with dire consequences, and fled the hospital,” he added.Police have identified the patient’s relative. “Further investigation is underway,” he said.
