Amravati: Intensifying the probe into the Paratwada sexual exploitation case, police on Friday searched a flat on Kathora Road where the prime accused, Ayaan, allegedly exploited victims. The flat’s owner, Manav Sugandhe, has been summoned for questioning.Investigators traced multiple locations linked to the accused, including three cafes — Cafe Royal 10 on Kathora Road in Amravati, Cafe Friends Town in Achalpur, and the now-shut Cafe Social Junction in Paratwada — where he is believed to have met victims. One such meeting also took place at a garden near Wazzar Dam.Ten persons have been detained for questioning since Tuesday, though no further arrests have been made.Acting on digital evidence, the cyber cell has taken down 41 accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, and YouTube that were circulating sensitive content related to the victims.A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has assigned a woman police inspector, Yashodhara Muneshwar, to reach out to survivors and facilitate the filing of formal complaints. Police have also issued a dedicated helpline (9773975635), assuring strict confidentiality of identities.The National Commission for Women reviewed the case via video conference on Friday. Authorities have urged survivors to come forward without fear and appealed to citizens to share credible information, promising anonymity for informants.Three Police Personnel SuspendedMeanwhile, one officer and two constables from Paratwada police station have been suspended after a video surfaced showing police personnel celebrating the accused’s birthday, triggering outrage.
