Nagpur: Nagpur Rural police on Thursday rescued a 14-year-old girl and reunited her with family nearly six months after she had gone missing.According to police, the girl’s family had lodged a complaint at Kuhi police station on Oct 27 last year. Police started probing the case from all angles, including kidnapping.In view of the seriousness of the case, superintendent of police Harssh A Poddar transferred the investigation to special cell. Under the guidance of Poddar, the team conducted intensive probe and based on confidential information, traced and rescued the girl from an area under Pachgaon police station jurisdiction. As the teenager did not reveal anything about the circumstances and her whereabouts, further investigation is on.
