Patna: A community hall-cum-workshed will soon come up at Rampur Nagwan village under Paliganj block of Patna district. The district administration has identified land and sent a proposal to the Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission seeking approval and funds. The project follows directions from district magistrate Kundan Kumar.According to a district administration communiqué issued on Sunday, the facility will serve as a common space for community meetings, training programmes, awareness campaigns and other social activities. The workshed will support skill development and livelihood-related initiatives for local residents.Officials said efforts are underway to complete the remaining formalities so that construction can begin at the earliest. The project aims to strengthen community participation and create infrastructure to support both social and economic activities in the rural area. It added that the facility is part of ongoing efforts to improve public-use infrastructure and expand amenities for local communities.
